Bible Crafts Spice Up Your Sunday School Class Now
The best way to get the attention of your Sunday school class students is with Bible crafts. However, it can be hard to come up with exciting and interesting crafts that are both educational and age-appropriate. If you’re in a bind, try one (or more) of the following Bible crafts.
God Changes Us Sunday School Activity
For this Bible craft, you’ll need the following for each student:
*Two pieces of construction paper
*Scissors
*Markers
*Coin stickers
*Other decorating supplies
Have each of your students choose a piece of colored construction paper that will serve as their craft’s background. Help them use their safety scissors to cut a wave border along their second piece of construction paper and then glue this cut paper onto their background paper.
Next, instruct your Sunday School class to write “God Changes Us!” in the middle of their paper. Now let them have fun decorating the paper with coin stickers and other decorating items that you provide. This will be a great church craft for your students to take home and share with their family and friends.
God Made Everything Church Craft
You’ll need the following for each Sunday school student for this Bible craft:
*White paper plate
*Scissors
*Blue and green paint
*Glue
*Paintbrushes
*Magazines to cut pictures out of
*A picture of each student
First, have your students paint the paper plates blue and green to symbolize the earth. While the paint is drying, help your class cut pictures out of the magazines to represent all of the amazing things that God created.
These can include people, flowers, animals, trees, etc. Now have your students glue these pictures onto their paper plates. Now have your students glue their pictures onto the center of the plate to show off God’s great creation!
Bible crafts such as the two described above are great for getting your Sunday school students excited about coming to class each week. You want to have fun with your students while teaching them the word of God, and crafts are just one way to do that! Use these ideas to come up with a few of your own!
