We believe in the maxim that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body, therefore, we encourage our students to play all major games. We have the provision for all out door as well as in door games. We also have a gym in the school where students can work out. Inter House Competitions are held every year in Volley Ball, Cricket, Basket Ball, Table Tennis, Foot Ball, Chess and Carom. All athletic events are also held. Annual Sports Meet is a big attraction for our students.
Remedial classes are useful in helping students who are struggling with basic concepts of a subject.
These classes act as a safety valve for struggling students, allowing them to work at the level they are truly on, rather than fail because they are not on the level with the standards of the class. Remedial classes are a positive environment for students suffering from low-self esteem, as they are encouraged to ask as many questions as necessary to understand their subject, rather than feeling pressurized to understand at once
The latest guide lines of jagannath international school C.B.S.E. are followed as regards the examination system. We have adopted the system of continuous and comprehensive evaluation including their day to day work, projects, practicals, oral exam, dictation, class tests, unit tests and term exams etc. Students are tested in various skills over the year.
There are no exams for Pre-school and Pre-Primary classes. They are assessed on the bases of their monthly performance.
